Parenteer (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our iOS application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
• Child Profile Information: You may optionally provide your child’s name and birthdate to personalize content.

1.2 Chat Messages

• We collect and store the prompts you type and the AI-generated responses in the cloud, associated with your account.
• These prompts are sent to OpenAI’s API to generate responses.
• We do not send any personally identifiable information to OpenAI beyond the prompts you type.

Important: If you include personal data in your chat prompt, that data may be transmitted to OpenAI. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in chat messages.

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Analytics and Crash Reports: We collect anonymous usage and crash data via Sentry to help improve app stability.
• Subscription Info: We collect in-app purchase and subscription status using RevenueCat.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and manage your account and personalized app experience.
• Enable chat-based interactions using the OpenAI API.
• Store your prompts and responses so you can revisit past conversations.
• Improve our app’s performance and reliability.
• Manage billing and subscription status.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate and enhance Parenteer:

• OpenAI API: to generate AI chat responses from your prompts. Privacy Policy
• Supabase: to store your account data, prompts, and responses.
• Sentry: to monitor app errors and crashes.
• RevenueCat: to manage subscriptions and purchase history.

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data:

• With the services listed above, as required to operate the app.
• As required by law, or to enforce our Terms of Use.
• In case of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data (including prompts and responses) for as long as you have an active account or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

• View, update, or delete your account information via the app.
• Request full deletion of your data by emailing info@parenteer.app.

7. Security

We use appropriate safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we recommend avoiding sensitive personal details in chat prompts.

8. Children’s Privacy

Parenteer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or update the “Effective Date.”
